Back Home :)

My goodness I’m tired, we have spent 5 1/2 hours in and out of the car, to an airport, out to lunch, a visit at Nana’s work, and finally back home again. The weather was great, and the kids were as good as they could be. James made both flights safely, and we already miss him greatly.

The Airport was fun, but Thade was a little worried that we would be going up in a Plane. He was relieved to hear that just Daddy was flying today.ย  The kids were pretty good there too, and surprisingly quiet. It was sad to leave without my Hubby, but I know he’ll be home soon ๐Ÿ˜‰

Lunch out wasย  fun (thanks again Mom a.k.a. Nana), and it was so delicious too. We ate at Bamboo Gardens, and we all had a great time. We also had fun visiting Nana at work, and Thade had a blast getting to meet everybody. He was chatting everyone’s ear off ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m glad to be home. I hope to get in a little rest today, and to get to watch the new Jon & Kate plus 8 ๐Ÿ˜‰ We’ll be making the trip again later in the week, and they are calling for snow. I hope the snow stays away for just a little bit longer ๐Ÿ™‚

Off and Running

The morning started a little too early for me today, Dylan was wide awake at 3:00 a.m., and finally fell back asleep at 5:00 a.m. I needed to get up by 7:00 a.m., run a quick errand, and then get the car loaded up. We are almost all ready to go, and the kids are both in great moods today. Thade is so excited about visiting an airport, he can’t wait to get in the car.

We are even driving over to meet my Mom for lunch, so today is going to be fun. Keep James in your thoughts as he is making two flights today ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ll be back in a few hours, I hope I can keep my energy up for the day, I’m on no coffee this morning ๐Ÿ˜‰

Get it Done Today

Well I’ve put everything off until the last moment, oh well I work well under pressure ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’ve got to get it all done today, and the clock’s ticking

  • Pack James suitcases
  • Clean out my Car
  • Get Gas and go to the ATM
  • Pack an extra bag for the kiddos (car trip tomorrow)
  • Bring Trash Cans to the Back-yard
  • Wash 4 loads of laundry

Better hurry and get dinner in the Crock Pot too ๐Ÿ™‚

Shopping Trip

Now I remember why I don’t shop on Saturdays, our local Wal-Mart was jam-packed and super busy today. It took over an hour and a half to make it though the store, the kids and I were exhausted by the time that we made it home. I think I’ll stick to my Monday shopping, and avoid the crowds.

I also noticed major price increases on many items in the store today ๐Ÿ™ Most increasesย  were on staple items, and they were all on my list: Milk, Aluminum Foil, Baking Soda, Margarine, Bananas, and a few more all went way up in price.ย  About $.20-$.50 an item, not too cool. Time to find some better deals, and look for some sales ๐Ÿ™‚

Nico The Slacker

Well yesterday I had lots of plans to get all of my errands accomplished, and I ended up just hanging out with the kiddos. Thade and I played Play-Doh in the kitchen, and Dylan was having an “I need Mommy to carry me everywhere day”, so I spent lots of time with him too. I’m glad I got in a little rest, as Dylan was up a lot last night with teething troubles.

I have lots to do today, and lots to catch up on too. Now I just need the energy to get it all done. Here is what I’ll be up to today:

  • Go shopping at Wal-Mart : Groceries, James travel needs
  • Wash 7 loads of laundry over the next 2 days
  • Start Packing the Suitcases for James trip
  • Put away clean dishes, and finish the washing from yesterday
  • Clean out my car
  • Watch the Green Bay Packers game today! GO PACKERS!!!!!

Dylan is still grumpy today, and I really hope that those little teeth come in soon. I’m pretty tired from all of the baby carrying, and extra nursing. Maybe one or two more cups of coffee will help me out this morning ๐Ÿ™‚
