A Little Greener in my Kitchen

This year I’m trying to “Go Green” a little bit at a time. I’ve already got a bit of a start to my project 🙂 My Mom brought me this great bottle of Seventh Generation Free & Clear Dish Liquid, and I love it! It is very gentle on my hands, and does a great job getting the dishes clean. My kitchen feels a little greener all ready.

Today I also had a cleaning task to tackle, my garbage disposal was getting a little stinky. I used Dried Orange Peels and Baking Soda to freshen up the garbage disposal, and it worked out great. The “garbage disposal cleaner” was easy on the budget as I had everything on hand, and very environmentally friendly too.

Friday’s To Do’s

We finally have a little bit of warmer weather today, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. We have lots of errands to run, and we will be out in the weather for most of the day. I hope we can get it all done. Here is what we have planned for today:

  • Bills and Post Office
  • Go to the ATM
  • Get Gas for my car
  • Clean out my car
  • Wash at least 2 loads of laundry
  • Empty Upstairs Trash Cans
  • Sweep and Clean Dining Room
  • Wash all Dishes
  • Go To Wal-Mart
  • Go To Walgreens
  • Start the Packing for James Trip

I hope the kiddos are ready to go lots of places today, and I hope the weather holds out too and stays nice 🙂
