I Don’t Want to go Outside

I really don’t want to go outside today, it is freezing. It isn’t even going to get above freezing today, right now it is a balmy 11. I should have run all of my errands yesterday, but I didn’t. If I can just wait until tomorrow, the weather will be slightly warmer. If I rally and get out today, here is the plan:

  • Get gas for my car
  • Go to Walgreens (Huggies diapers are on sale 2/$16 Last Day)
  • Go to Dollar General for Kitty Litter
  • Go to Wal-Mart for all of the groceries
  • Go to the Post Office

That is a lot of outdoor errands on a cold day, I just don’t know if I really want to get out in the cold. We’ll see if I make it outside today  😉

Simple Invitations

I gathered my crafting supplies and made simple Birthday Invitations for Thade’s 4th Birthday Party. I used Red Craft paper, Index cards, and stickers from Thade’s collection. I also used my decorative scissors for the edges. I think they turned out pretty cute, and I saved money by using what I already had on hand.  Now let’s get these invitations in the mail 😉

Midwest Dillons Deals

Dillons has another great sale going on from 1/16/08-1/22/08! If the weather cooperates, I’m going shopping 🙂 Here is what is on my shopping list:

  • Kroger Russet Potatoes 2 for $3.00 (price with Plus Card)
  • Coca Cola Products 2 Liters 10 for $10.00 (price with Plus Card)
  • Yoplait Yogurt 20 for $10.00 (price with Plus Card)
  • Rice a Roni or Pasta Roni 10 for $10.00 (price with Plus Card)
  • Kroger Pretzels 10 for $10.00 (price with Plus Card)
  • Doritos $1.88 ea (price with Plus Card)
  • Huggies Jumbo Packs or Training Pants $7.00 ea (price with Plus Card)

I’m going through all of my coupons to see if I can save even more 🙂

All Safe and Sound

Yesterday was a crazy day filled with flight delays, bad weather, and lots of car travel. It was all worth it as my hubby is finally home safe and sound! His flight was delayed for three hours, and I was going to pick him up at a different airport, but the weather was horrible. My brother volunteered to go to the airport and pick up James. We met halfway, and the kids were thrilled to see Daddy, and Uncle Rob too 😉

I have to say a Great Big Thank You to my Brother for all of his help yesterday.  We are so happy to have Daddy back home 🙂
