Yahoo For Bento!

I’m so happy that I picked up the Bento kits, they have made a big difference at Dinner-time. Thade is a very picky eater, but he will give new foods a try if they are presented to him in the Bento. Last night he had Salmon Cakes, Salad with Croutons and Bacos, and Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, if he ate well.

 

He looked at the Salad, and asked what it was, that usually means he isn’t going to try it. He tried a bite, and actually liked it, in fact he ate about half of it 🙂 He also ate an entire Salmon Cake too! No complaints either, it was a Dinner-time Success!

 

If you have a picky eater like me, I highly recommend purchasing a Bento Kit, this one was definitely worth the price ($1.00 at the Dollar Tree). Last nights meal was one that Thade has had before, and it was also one that he has not wanted to eat before. This time when I presented the dinner in a different way, he happily finished a meal!

My Find :)

We went to Dollar Tree (thanks Mimi) to look for Party Decorations for Thade’s Birthday Party. I came home with some pretty cool finds, and I’m on track with my Party Budget too!

 

I had to splurge just a bit, when I spotted the Hello Kitty Bento kits, I have been looking at these on E-bay, but I didn’t want to pay the E-bay price for them. At just $1.00 each, I grabbed 2, and a really cool Spiderman Placemat for Thade.

I only spent $9.66, and I got just about everything that was on my decoration list! Now if I can only find a Thomas the Train Bento set at Dollar Tree 🙂

I’m Tired All Ready

I definitely have the cold today, and the aches to go along with it. There is  a lot that I have to do, and I hope I can get the energy to get it all done. The weather is going to be nice today too, so the kiddos and I are going to be running a few errands. Here is the plan for today:

  • Wash as many dishes as I can. I was all caught up a few days ago, and now the kitchen is a mess again 😉
  • Laundry, Laundry, Laundry, and maybe some more Laundry
  • Go to Wal-Mart -Groceries
  • Go to Walgreens -Medicine and Coca-Cola Products 3/$9.00
  • Go to the Post Office

I’m tired all ready, and I haven’t even left the house…

More Doctor’s Appointments

Yesterday it was Dylan’s turn for a check-up, and today I had an appointment scheduled for my hubby, he is still having trouble with a sinus infection. This morning Thade said that his ears hurt too, so I’ve got him scheduled for a check-up this afternoon. He also has his 4 year check-up next week, with shots. With all of the check-ups we seem to be living at the hospital this month 😉

I’m starting to feel the sinus pain as well, so today I’ve called my hubby to bring home lunch. I want to keep things nice and simple before we go to all of the appointments.

This afternoon I need to call all of the family, and explain why we are moving the party to next weekend. I hope that nobody is too upset about the last minute change in plans. It looks like it is going to be a long day today 😉

Party?

Well it looks like the party is going to have to be postponed until next weekend. Everybody has this yucky cold/flu/sinus infection, and Thade is sneezing his head off today. I’ve had a sinus headache for about 2 days now, and the sneezes are on their way. I just sneezed as I typed that, way too much information 😉 James is finally feeling better, so I guess he’ll have to take care of all of us if I get the cold next.

We might have a little party tomorrow, just the 4 of us, and plan an even bigger party for next weekend! I hope that everyone gets well soon 🙂
