Off to the Doctor and its Snowing too

I was hoping that the snow would wait until we were home from the Doctor, but it has arrived. I don’t think that we are going to get that much though… Now I’ve probably just jinxed myself and we are going to get a foot + 🙂

Thade is still not feeling well, and he is now taking his third nap for the day. We are heading out to the Doctor in about 45 minutes, so we’ll see how this goes. This is a check-up that I am a little nervous about, this one comes with shots. The last check-up with shots ended with me + 2 nurses to hold down a kicking and screaming Thade, it was not pretty.  My tummy is a little nervous today too… I’m planning on taking along his Blue Blanket and a favorite toy to help, and we are making a trip to Sonic for a Cherry-Chocolate Dr Pepper after the appointment. His favorite treat at the moment 😉

Wish me luck, and if you have any helpful advice to make the trip to the Doctor better, I could use it 🙂

Messy Morning (YUCKY Post)

Well this morning started off a bit too early for me. Dylan was up on the hour last night grumpy and hungry. Right at 7:00 a.m., Dylan was up crying and Thade was up crying too. Dylan was hungry, for Cheerios (his new favorite), and Thade said that he had a bad dream, he also felt awfully warm…

I got everybody changed, dressed, and downstairs, including the giant Elmo, and Thade’s new HeatBlast Ben 10 toy. Dylan was happily eating in the high chair, and Thade chilling out on our big new Easy-Chair (thanks Grandma), but Thade was still upset and complaining of a tummy ache. Uh oh! I went into the kitchen, and I heard Thade cough, and then I hear the footsteps running through the house. Thade got sick in the living room, the dining room, and then all over the kitchen. I hope his tummy feels better now.

I got him changed into a new outfit, and a new blanket for him to cuddle up with. I’ve got everything cleaned up, and I’m finally getting to that cup of coffee. I had a feeling that today was going to be one of those days 😉 We still have to go to the Doctor this afternoon, and I think that is why Thade is so upset. I hope that he feels better soon 🙂

Please No Snow

Well it looks like I’m heading back to the store today, there is a big snow storm heading our way later this evening. Over the next 2 days we are looking at 3-6 inches of snow, and Nico is not so good in the snow. I hope that it doesn’t get too bad, I have to take Thade for his 4 year check-up/shots on Thursday. I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t mind missing that appointment, but he kinda needs to go.

Time to make a quick list, and get to the store. I’ll have to bundle up the kids extra today too, right now it is a balmy 20.  Stay warm everybody 😉

54 and Snow

Today the weather read 54 degrees and Snow, I kid you not. At 7:30 a.m. it was nice and warm, and by 9:00 a.m., it had already dropped to below 40. At Noon the snow started, and it looks like it is here to stay for quite a while too. Thade is thrilled though, he loves the snow 😉 I’m not so excited about the snow, its just too darn cold.
