Finally a homemade recipe that turned out great! I used the recipe for Egg Noodles found at Cooks.com. The noodles are so delicious and made plenty of leftovers. This recipe was hubby approved, but not toddler approved, just yet.
I was surprised at how simple and affordable the noodles were to make. Eggs, Flour, Salt, and Water and I was paying $3.42 for the frozen, not anymore! I separated the dough into 4 sections. I then rolled the dough onto waxed paper (lightly dusted with flour) right on the kitchen table. I used a pizza cutter to cut the noodles, and I let them dry on the waxed paper as well. The clean up was pretty easy, as most of the mess was on the waxed paper. Continue reading
