YAHOO!!! Vacation is finally here! James and I have been up since 5:30 a.m., and we are ready to go. The only bad part, yesterday I came down with a nasty cast of tonsillitis. Oh well they can’t hear me yelling for them any way 😉 Go Harvick!!!!!

One Day To Go!!!!!
I am so excited! Tomorrow James and I are off to the Busch Race, and then on Sunday its the Nextel Cup Race! This is our second Nextel Cup Race, and Busch Race too. I can’t wait to go. Last year we found tickets for the Busch Race in KS, and we happily spent our 5th Anniversary (a little early) at the Nextel Cup Race in Talladega AL.
I still have a lot to get done around here, so I had better get to it. Here is the plan for today:
- Put away 3 loads of laundry
- Pack 3 coolers
- Get gas for my car
- Vacuum the living room
- Wash and put away clean dishes
- Empty all of the downstairs and upstairs wastebaskets
- Take out the trash
- Go to the ATM, gotta have some cash for NASCAR gear
- Try to get in a little rest (I only clocked in 3 hours last night)
- Charge the cell phones and the digital camera
I’m going to be pretty busy today, and James might be taking off work a little early so he can help out too. I hope that everybody has a great weekend!
Time to Read
Yesterday I brought down a container of baby friendly toys for Dylan to play with. Thade spotted a book that we used to read when he was a baby. He picked up the book and said “I will read to Dylan”. Thade is an excellent teacher, and Dylan was very content to listen to his big brother teach him all about the barn yard animals.
September Project Check-In
The month is rapidly coming to an end. Sadly I have not made a dent in the projects that I was going to get accomplished. The boy’s closet remains untouched, as does mine. The utility room is a giant mess, and I’ve just run out of time.
I did manage to get the foyer cleaned and decorated 🙂 I also cleaned out the pantry in the kitchen. I wiped down all of the shelves, and lined them with waxed paper for super easy clean-up. I organized all of the canned goods, and started a recipe box. Its a start, just a little one.
I might have to move September’s Projects to October’s Projects 😉
Happy 6 Months Sweetie!
HAPPY SIX MONTHS DYLAN!!!!!
The little one is six months old today! I can’t believe how quickly the time has passed and how much my little baby has changed. Dylan is trying his hardest to crawl, and sit up too. He is super busy and in to everything. Thade has become the great-entertainer and keeps Dylan laughing. Big hugs to my little one, and my big kid too!
