A Day Early

Today James was up early, just in case he had to go in to work. Luckily, he didn’t have to go in to work today. We took the boys out to help with chores in the front yard (Dylan observed), and even the weather cooperated. James suggested that we go out and get the grocery shopping done for next week, so I am a day ahead of schedule. 🙂

I’ve been doing little cleaning tasks around the house. I got the dishes all caught up, and a couple loads of laundry washed too. If I can just get Thade to take a nap, I’ll be all set.

Day 4 No Nap!!!

Where did my great napper go? Dylan is skipping 2 naps a day and Thade has given up naps all together. HELP!!!

I could use any and all suggestions for a peaceful and very restful nap time.

The Housework is piling up

Well my week of getting lots of things accomplished have crashed and burned. I have seriously done absolutely nothing. Both of the boys are skipping naps, and mommy has no time to turn around. Dylan must be growing because he is still eating every two hours, and the exhaustion of the constant nursing is catching up with me.

Here is what I need to be doing:

  • Take out the trash
  • Wash the gigantic pile of dishes
  • Wash 3 loads of laundry
  • Put away 3 loads of laundry
  • Vacuum the living room
  • Clean just about every surface top to bottom, as everything at the moment is covered with toddler toys

I hope to get something done today. My hubby is working till close. I need to have dinner and a cold glass of iced tea ready for him when he makes it in. Lets all keep out fingers crossed that the boys will take a nap today, and mommy can catch up on the neglected house.

Time to get out of the house

The boys and I are going stir crazy. Luckily the weather is going to be a little bit cooler today. Once Dylan is up and fed we are going to go and run some errands. I need to gas up the car, bummer 🙁 and go to Wal-Mart too. I seem to be out of random items: toilet paper, tissues, trash bags, and James needs drinks for work too.

I’m kinda grumpy with myself. I knew that we were going to be in all week. I had all of these projects in mind that I was going to get accomplished, and I have finished none of them. I need to buckle down and get something done.
