Checking off the List

Today is the day that I have to have everything ready for James convention. I’ve got a few errands to run, and 2 suitcases to pack. I hope to get the kiddos out for a bit this morning too, so James can have a little peace and quiet.

I’ve got to make one more run to Walgreens, and we need to get gas in the car. I hope that Dylan takes an extra long nap, so I can get it all done today.

This Morning Went Better

I was up early, and somehow I managed to get a shower and grab a cup of coffee before the kids were awake. Both of the boy’s slept better last night, and I got a little rest too. Thank goodness, I don’t think I’ve had a full night of rest for over a week.

Today it is freezing, so it looks like we will be in for the day. There is still plenty to do though, I’ve got to get all of James things packed for convention, and pick up any odds and ends.

I hope that you are having a great weekend and staying warm too.

The Next Few Days

The next few days are going to be crazy, and I’m already exhausted. I’m still not feeling quite right, and I’ve got so much to do…

Today Thade had school, and I took a little extra time at home to wash a few loads of laundry, and return some calls. Before school was over I thought I would save a little time and energy, so Dylan and I headed out to run errands. We made a trip to Walgreens for travel sized items, and then we made a run to the Post Office for stamps.

While we were at the Post Office, Dylan spotted an adorable kitty hiding in the bushes. I had to get a picture, this little stray was too adorable, and it had the brightest blue eyes. I swear I’m not a crazy cat lady, not just yet…

After the Post Office, we were off to get Thade from school. Once we had Thade in tow, then we were back across town to grab lunch to take to my hubby at work.

After lunch we were finally on the way home, and all of us are so tired…

Thade is a little grumpy too.

Tomorrow looks like more of the same… Running around getting everything ready for Dad’s trip, and still keeping up with all of the extra things that need done around the house. Time to grab some more coffee, this girl is getting tired.

The Wacky Weather

The weather was absolutely amazing yesterday, and we needed to get out of the house. My hubby was planning to get out of work a little early, so I asked him if he would want to go to the park with the kiddos…

My pictures look a little chilly, but I promise it really was 65 degrees outside.

Both kiddos were thrilled with the trip to the park, they had a blast running around and playing on the swings. It is rare that we are at the park in January, so we’ll be thankful for the good weather.

The Bear Factory

I’ve got one week left to get all of these bears sewn. So far I’ve finished 17, so I’m a little over half-way there. My hands hurt from all of this hand stitching though…

I hope to get the rest of the bears finished soon.
