Halloween Fun

This one is back too… This year we decided to check out Trunk-or-Treat.

Shaunna brought Sheldon over in the afternoon, so we got all of the boy’s in their costumes and ready to go Trick-or-Treating. Shaunna and I decided to dress up too, and we needed a costume quickly, so we decided on dressing as 80’s Aerobic Instructors. Our costumes were complete with side ponytails, scrunchies, leg warmers, and lots of really bad blue eyeshadow.

Trunk-or-treat was so much fun, and there was an amazing turn out too. They estimated that there were 2000 people that attended this year. There were bouncy castles, a petting zoo, free food and beverages, and of course plenty of candy. We will definitely visit Trunk-or-Treat again next Halloween.

The kiddos came home with a ton of candy too.

November Monthly Menu

Here we go again, and this time I hope it stays…

We are well into Fall, and that means yummy Fall Favorites are making an appearance on the menu. This month I also need to restock the freezer with waffles, but that is breakfast, and this menu is all about Dinner. So here we go (one more time) my Dinner Menu Plan for November.

  • 11/12/08: Beef w/ Rice-a-Roni and Hominy
  • 11/13/08: Chicken Chow Mien, Rice, and Chow Mien Noodles
  • 11/14/08: Salmon Cakes, Corn, and Rice
  • 11/15/08: Lasagna and Garlic Bread
  • 11/16/08: Beef & Broccoli Stir-fry and Rice
  • 11/17/08: Angus Burgers, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, and Fries
  • 11/18/08: Nacho Night! Make your own Nacho Bar
  • 11/19/08: Popcorn Shrimp and Fries
  • 11/20/08: Chili and Brownies
  • 11/21/08: Beef Enchiladas, Tortilla Chips, Re-fried Beans, and Cheese Dip
  • 11/22/08: Spaghetti, Black Olives, and Garlic Bread
  • 11/23/08: BBQ Ribs, Corn, and Biscuits
  • 11/24/08: Bean & Cheese Quesadillas, Tortilla Chips, Salsa, and Cheese Dip

Nicostuff’s a bit Wonky Today

Hmmm, Nicostuff is a bit wonky today, my recent posts and comments have all disappeared, but we are working on the wonkiness. I should have yesterday’s posts and today’s up again soon.
