All Finished

Whew! I’m so tired, but I’m all finished with my shopping. I ended up going to 4 stores in 2 days with 2 very grumpy boys. I’ve got one tired back from carrying Dylan in the Snugli, but my savings were huge. Yahoo for me! I’m going to post my totals soon. Both of the boys are napping right now, so I had better get to the laundry while I have a chance.

This is going to take some planning

Tomorrow I’m planning on shopping the loss leaders at three stores: Dillon’s, Aldi, and Walgreens. I’m taking some extra time today to get everything ready for tomorrow. I’ve got to have a few extra items for the boys, and my shopping bags for Aldi too. I already have all of my lists ready, with coupons. I hope that the boys will behave, and that I have the energy to go shopping tomorrow.

I’m finishing up the remainder of the grocery shopping at Wal-Mart on Friday. James has an eye appointment, so I’ll have some time to shop. That is a total of 4 stores in 2 days. Maybe I should invest in a few iced coffees too.

Glamping, maybe I could do this

As you all should know by now I am not an outdoors girl, at all. I’ve even thought about putting down astro– turf in the backyard to avoid the dirt of the outdoors. Today I was watching the news and I saw a story about Glamping, or Glamouros Camping. It is big in the United Kingdom, and is becoming more popular in the United States too.

You stay in a beautifully decorated “tent” complete with wifi, electricity, indoor plumbing, and even a personal chef. You get to sleep on the finest bedding with big fluffy pillows, no dirty sleeping bag on dirty ground. I think it is a great idea, but it is a bit pricey. This definitely sounds like my kind of camping!

What is going on with my noggin

I woke up last night at 2:00 a.m. with an impending migraine. At 6:00 a.m., when Dylan was hungry I woke back up with a full blown migraine. My eyes were stinging so bad it hurt to open them. After Dylan was full and sleepy again, I tried to catch a quick cat nap before Thade was awake. Thade woke up about an hour later, and he had fun playing in his room. I still have the migraine, but I’m hoping that my medicine will start to help soon. I wanted to go to Walgreens today, but with the headache, I doubt we get to go.

Here is the plan for today:

*Wash and Fold 3 loads of laundry
*Wash and put away dirty dishes
*Fill Dakota’s auto-feeder
*Cancel James appointment for Thursday
*Room to clean today-stairway

I’m going to try and get a little more rest in there too.
