Today I’m…

Today I’m so tired. Dylan was up last night on the hour, and Thade was wide awake by 7:30 a.m. Dylan and I go to the doctor this afternoon, I hope I don’t fall asleep in the waiting room. Thade has been busy trashing the house, and I’m a little tired of picking up all the messes. Note to self organize the toys, or have a giant garage sale.

So here is today’s to do’s

*Put away clean dishes
*Wash dirty dishes
*Wash 2 loads of laundry
*Put away 3 loads of laundry
*Clean the litter box
*Sweep and Swiffer Utility room
*Fill out paperwork for Doctor visit at 3:30 p.m.
*Run to the grocery store

I’ve gotten most of the cleaning done already, and re-cleaning too. Maybe we’ll call it an early night, and get take-out.

Feeling Blue

Today I decided to paint my decorative chair on the front porch blue. It was a pretty wine color during the fall and winter, but I thought that robin’s egg blue would be pretty for spring and summer.

Thade and I brought in the chair, and got it all prepped for painting. Then everyone wanted to get involved in the project. Thade wanted to paint, but I wasn’t quite brave enough to let him, so he dusted the living room. The 2 kitties kept running back and forth near the open paint can. I swear I never see the cats until I’m painting. Everything went pretty well though, and I’m going to get the second coat on soon. I’ll post some pics as soon as the paint dries.

To Do List Today

Well shopping was the big thing that I had to get done yesterday, so the laundry didn’t get finished or put away. Here is what I’m hoping to get done today:

*Wash 3 loads of laundry
*Put away 6 loads of laundry
*Pre-register for tomorrow’s Doctor’s appointments (Dylan and mommy)
*Call insurance co, and make sure that my meds will be covered
*Empty waste baskets upstairs
*Take out the trash
*Clean the fridge and freezer
*Put away clean dishes, and wash the dirty ones

Thade is still potty training, so he keeps me pretty busy with that too. Dylan is still nursing every two hours also, right now he is settling down for a mid-morning nap, so I had better get to work.

Got to the store (finally)

Today I decided to give it a try and take both of the boys grocery shopping. We had a few errands to run: first off to the post office, and then to gas up the car ($3.49 ouch), and then to the store. I made sure that both boys were fed, rested, and ready to shop. It actually went pretty well, Thade was a big help, and Dylan was happy just hanging out. I forgot a few things on my list, I ran out of room in the cart, and the trunk of my car too. I have two strollers in the trunk, so its tricky getting groceries in there.

I may attempt Walgreen’s this week too. I’ll have to carry Dylan in a carrier though, the carts are a little small. Lets see if I get brave enough to try that one. I’ll keep you posted.

Putting away the stockpile

First off I have to say my mom totally rocks!!! She visited us on Saturday, and brought a trunk-load of diapers too. She is too great, and I really appreciate all of those diapers. I’m a lucky girl, and my boys are lucky to have such an amazing Nana.

So today I’m putting away all of the stockpile items. Here is what I got:

*3 12 packs of Dr Pepper
*3 cases of Pull-Ups
*2 Jumbo packs of Target Training Pants
*1 Jumbo pack of size 2 diapers
*1 case of Baby Wipes
*All Free and Clear small and mighty detergent
*24 silicone cupcake cups

She also brought lots of goodies for me too. I really appreciated all of the help with the boys, and all of the much needed items for my stockpile.
