Way too much water

Today was supposed to be James eye appointment, but the weather is just too bad. We have had eight inches of rain since last night, and the water is up over the roads. So we are flooded out and stuck indoors. I guess it gives me a chance to get a few things done around the house.

Here is the plan for today:

* Wash 3 loads of laundry
* Put away 3 loads of laundry
* Wash and put away dishes
* Clean the bathrooms
* Clean up the kitchen
* Clean up the Living room
* Make shopping list with coupons for the B-B-Q

I hope that the rain stops soon, but it is supposed to rain through Monday. We might just have the B-B-Q indoors.

Today’s To Do List

I’m off with the boys for another shopping adventure today. We are going to Walgreens and Dillons for supplies for next weeks B-B-Q. It is still raining, so I know Dylan won’t be too happy with this shopping trip.

Here is the plan for today:

* Put away 3 loads of laundry
* Homemaker’s Journal room to clean- Living Room
* Go shopping at Walgreens, and Dillons
*Pay Bills and balance checkbook
*Wash and put away dishes

This weekend I’m getting the house ready for company. I need to clean everywhere. I also need to get my Walgreens rebates sent out this weekend too, I don’t want to miss out on those gift cards.

February 2007-May 2007 Coupon Savings

This year I’m trying to be a frugal girl, and using coupons when I shop. I’ve been tracking my purchases and coupons that I use to see how I can spend smarter and save more. I’m pretty happy with my coupons savings for the year so far.

February: $18.00
March: $40.89
April: $6.40
May: $4.60

Total so far: $69.89

Please share any comments and ideas for shopping and saving.
