10:15 a.m. Time for Breakfast

breakfast-1.JPGWith Thade busy building with blocks and screaming at Dylan for destroying his creation my migraine was raging. It was 10:15 a.m., and I was midway through washing dishes when I realized that I hadn’t had a minute to stop for breakfast.  I decided to take a little break, make more dirty dishes, and have a delicious bowl of Oatmeal with Dried Cranberries and Vanilla-Yogurt covered Raisins. Not to mention a second cup of desperately needed coffee 😉

This morning Thade and I learned a few valuable lessons: Mommy is a little grumpy if she doesn’t get breakfast, and if you put anything on the floor Dylan will roll over and destroy it.  11:00 a.m. already! Time to go and make some lunch for the big kid 🙂

Stocking the Winter Pantry

Last week when I came down with a yucky cold, I went to the kitchen for soup, and found that my pantry was ill prepared for me being ill. Before it gets too cold, or before I get another cold, I think I had better stock my pantry for Winter.

I’ll be watching the sales ads, and getting coupons together for:

  • Canned Soups
  • Baking Supplies
  • Pasta and Sauces
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Extra Baby Food

Do you stock up extra for the Winter months? What do you keep on-hand in your pantry?
