This week I have been off a day all week. I am so ready for a weekend. I would love to sit back, relax, and do absolutely nothing.
What about you… What are your plans this weekend?
Between Agnes’ birthday, our anniversary, and Halloween, we have been extra busy over here. It has been fun celebrating all of these awesome days.
Agnes turned three!
She was so excited to open presents. She opened them first thing in the morning.
James and I were celebrating our 11th anniversary that day too.
Later on in the day, we had the family up to celebrate too.
It was so awesome getting to spend time with everyone. We had a blast!
A few days later it was Halloween. It just happens to be my very favorite holiday.
We picked up James at work, and we went to Dylan’s school Halloween costume parade.
The parade was early in the morning, and it was a little chilly.
Dylan the cowboy was looking adorable.
In the afternoon we headed to Thade’s school to watch their costume parade.
It was crowded!
We found a good spot to watch the parade.
The parade was moving fast. I think I only got one single picture of Thade.
As soon as the kids were home from school, they were ready to go trick-or-treating.
We waited till it was almost dusk, and we headed out to walk around our neighborhood.
We walked around our neighborhood, and then we walked around a bit more.
The kids had so much fun, they didn’t want to come home.
It was time to go home though. We had lots of candy to pass out to trick-or-treaters too.
Later on we watched a movie, and we checked over all of the candy.
What a fun couple of days.
I’ve been crafting lots of little projects lately.
I’ve gone through the rest of my fabric. I’ve been cutting blocks to finish off Agnes’ quilt. I hope to get it finished one of these days.
I crocheted a scarf for James for his birthday. It is Green Bay Packers colors.
Once James’ scarf was finished, I started one for my brother Rob. It is K.C. Chiefs colors.
I think I worked on Rob’s scarf for eight days.
I got it all done though, and it looks pretty cool. I hope he likes it.
I decided to start one for Thade too.
I finished it in a day. Crocheting has been so much fun, but now I don’t want to stop.
October was so much fun, and I took lots and lots of photos. Here are a few of my favorites from the month of October.
Thade made his Halloween costume this year.
We had fun watching his school’s Halloween parade too.
Dylan has been extra busy at school. He is having a blast at kindergarten.
He looked cute dressed as a cowboy for his Halloween parade.
Agnes turned three in October.
She changes a bit more every day, and she has a crazy vocabulary now.
She loved Halloween this year too.
The kids had a fun Halloween. They loved trick-or-treating this year.
The leaves changed into their pretty Autumn colors in October.
October is such a pretty time of year.
We celebrated our anniversary and Agnes’ birthday with our family. It was so awesome.
The big kitty found a few spots to enjoy a much needed nap.
This was one of my favorite shots of the month. So sweet.
