I stocked up on a few more colors of yarn, and I’m attempting to make an afghan.
I pack it along with me while I’m waiting for the big kids to get out of school. I also work on it during the evenings while we are watching Netflix. The kiddos are already requesting afghans too.
After about a week of work the afghan is starting to take shape. I hope to have it completed by Winter, but I’ve spotted another scarf that I want to make. Better go and get some more yarn.
Today I have been catching up on the dishes and laundry. I was hoping to have most of the Christmas decorating done, but I haven’t even started. Maybe I can start tomorrow.
Oh my goodness, Thanksgiving was so much fun. I barely stopped to get a few photos. We had family over all day, and the kids had an awesome time. We had lots of tasty goodies too.
We have lots of yummy leftovers too. We decided to have pie for breakfast this morning. The kids didn’t mind one bit.
I hope that everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving. Thanks again to my family for coming to visit us too. Thanksgiving was just awesome.
I have been in the kitchen most of the day, and I’m still not finished with my to do list for today…
I’ve been washing dishes, and prepping dishes for tomorrow. I’ve been making lots of pies too. I’ve got three done and one more to go, but I am losing my energy this evening.
I took a break in the late afternoon. James watched the kiddos, and I visited a few of my favorite shops. I found myself a few more pieces to add to my collection too.
It was nice to get out of the house for a bit, and enjoy some quiet before tomorrow. I’ll be up early cooking, and the kids can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving!
Today is the boys last day of school this week. I’ve got the house stocked up and ready to go for Thanksgiving. I’m spending the day working on a few projects, and catching up on way too much laundry.
Tomorrow I’ll start baking… I’m either baking fresh bread of rolls for Thanksgiving. I’m also going to start baking the pies. I’m serving four pies this year. I can’t wait to get started. Thanksgiving is so much fun.
