A Nico Give Away

Surprise! To help celebrate my 1000th post I am giving away two new Nicostuff items in the next two days.

First up for grabs is a Red and White Toile Nico Tote

The Nico Tote is a large sized tote bag perfect for holding just about everything that you need in your day. The Nico Tote is fully lined with an interior of small red and white printed fabric, and the exterior is a romantic red and white Toile.

Here is how you can win the Nico Tote:

  • First leave me a comment, or a suggestion of what you would like to see in the next 1000 posts.
  • Nicostuff will randomly draw the winners name on Monday Night, and I will post the winning name on my blog Tuesday.

Thanks so much for entering the Nicostuff give away and good luck to all!

1000 for Nicostuff

YAY! It is my 1000th post today!

I’m super excited that I made my goal of 1000 posts by the New Year, and I can’t wait to get started on the next 1000 posts. Thanks so much for reading along too. Big hugs -nico-

Preschool Gifts

With some help from Nana, and great advice from Nicostuff readers, we finally got the presents all together for preschool. How I wish we had a Dollar Tree locally I think I would shop there everyday.

Thade and I set up a little assembly line, he would pick out a pencil, eraser, and throw in a peppermint candy cane too. I would then stuff the little gift bags, and tag them with my Christmas address labels that found  at our $1.00 Shop. The bags looked so cute, and Thade was really happy that he got to help out with the project too.

We took the presents to school on Wednesday along with Christmas gifts for all of the teachers. Thade said that his teachers loved their gifts, and gave him extra hugs to say thanks. His Christmas party is coming up soon, and he can’t wait!

Finally, I Get To Make a Dress

This month I have had a few cool sewing gigs come my way, so my sewing machine has been extra busy. Last week a friend asked me if I would help create a dress inspired by Miss Patty Cake for her daughter who is turning 5. I thought the outfit sounded like a lot of fun to sew, and I finally get to make a dress.

Once the pattern was just right, I spent about 3 days working on the dress, when Dylan would take his afternoon nap. Once the dress was finished I couldn’t stop there, it needed something else.

I made a little purse too. I think that with a super cute dress, you just have to have a bag that matches.
