Ramen Noodle Monday

On Mondays my hubby works open to close, and I always pack him a tasty lunch for the day. I thought Monday would be a great day to save a little time and money on my lunch too. I’ve decided to institute Ramen Noodle Mondays. To kick off the fun and easy lunch I picked up a few of my all time favorite Cheese Ramen, and a Spicy Chili Lime Shrimp Ramen.  I hope to check out a few other flavors too. Monday seems to be my busiest day around here, and I can always use a quick and easy lunch 😉

Do you have a favorite Ramen, or a quick and easy lunch recipe to share?

To Do Re-Do

You know I love my lists, and I’m always working on a way to make my daily routine run smoother. I’ve stopped making my daily To Do lists, and I’ve started making a weekly to do list. I figured out that I pretty much do the same chores everyday and I really needed a better way to keep track of those extra items that come up throughout the week. Once again I have redone To Do List…

It is now broken down into three sections:

  • What I Need to do
  • What I Want to do
  • What I Don’t want to do

The need section is reserved for all of those extra chores that really need done, a trip to the post office, or an appointment that I wasn’t planning on. The want section is reserved for all of the fun items that I would like to do: bake cookies with Thade, or sew a new bag. Lastly we have the don’t wants, which I am notiorus for putting off, Nico can be a bit of a procrastinator… This section is all of those things that I dread doing: like cleaning the litter box, or taking out the trash, the yucky stuff.

I’ve found that if I can get rid all of the don’t wants on the list first, it leaves me extra time to focus on all of those items that I do want to do. Maybe it will help out with the procrastinating Nico too 😉

How do you keep track of all of your extra To Do’s ?

Happy Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day to my amazing hubby!

James is not only an awesome husband, he is an incredible Dad too! He is patient, and kind, and makes me giggle as he runs through the house chasing Thade and Dylan. He is always there for his family, and he makes every day fun! Happy Father’s Day from the Kiddos and the Wifey too 🙂

Happy Flag Day and a Trip to the Market

We made a trip trip to the Farmer’s Market. Thade was up early and ready to go. It is a quick walk from our house, and both of the boys look forward to the outing

We got to the Farmer’s Market earlier than last week, and there were about eight vendors today. I stopped and chatted with one of the ladies and she told me of some the other vendors that bring in fresh cheese and milk, but you have to get there early. She also gave the boys an American Flag each to wave for Flag Day, the boys were thrilled with the flags, and Dylan is walking his flag all over the house.

Thade was happy with the trip to the Farmer’s Market, he got to pick up a chocolate cupcake for $.50

Dylan was happy to go along for the ride, and he loved the Amish Horse and Buggy : )

I’m pretty excited about all of the buys. I picked up some Strawberry Freezer Jam, Apple Butter, a Chocolate Cupcake for Thade’s Snack, and some Local Honey. I hope the honey will help out with Thade’s allergies, and mine too, either way it will be tasty on toast ; )

June is One Busy Month

This month quickly became the month of way too much to do with one stressed out Mommy trying to make sure everyone is at the right place at the right time.

I tried to simplify all of Thade’s activities by using stickers. He can look at the calendar and see if there is just one sticker, only one event for the day, most days there are two to three stickers ; ) I also plan my errands for the time that Thade is at an activity. I can get those little errands finished quickly with a limited amount of time

In the next week Thade starts Craft Camp which is daily, he is also still going to Day Camp (3 days) and T-Ball too. It is going to be one busy week, and I’m already looking forward to July… So far we have nothing planned for the entire month : )
