Kansas July weather has returned with too much heat. We are hiding out indoors today. I’m crocheting a bit, and the kids have a crazy game going on upstairs. They are also enjoying a fair amount of pop-ice today to beat the heat. Hope you are staying cool.

By the way… Agnes’ appointment went great yesterday. She was a little nervous, but her big brothers stepped up and were there for her. She has grown like crazy, and she is all caught up on immunizations for preschool. She’ll have to get a round of immunizations for kindergarten, but we’ll wait a bit on those. She is really excited to go to preschool now!

I was up early, and up late last night too. The Miss couldn’t get to sleep, she was nervous about her preschool check-up today. I know she is going to do just fine, and her brothers are going along for big-bro support.

We have a few errands to run this morning. I cleaned out Thade’s closet yesterday, so we have a few bags of clothing to donate. We are also off to the grocery store this morning. I hope to get there before it gets too warm. July weather is making a return today.

This week the weather has been unseasonably cool, and that makes me unseasonably cheerful. We’ve been hanging out at home, and the kids have been busy creating and playing outdoors.

I’ve been enjoying some Summer reading. I’ve also been rearranging the kitchen cabinets, and crocheting a cushion for Dylan. I’m going to enjoy these cool lazy days while I can.
