Turkey Nap?

We just made it back from a very yummy Thanksgiving dinner. I think we all ate way too much, but it is a little hard not too. My Sister-in-law hosted and baked yummy thumb-print cookies. My Mother-in-law cooked a huge Thanksgiving meal, and everything was delicious. My Mom brought a tasty Green Bean Casserole, and I brought along some Mashed Sweet Potatoes. My Brother and his Girlfriend even came along for the Thanksgiving feast.

I would love to take a long turkey-induced nap, but there is still a lot to be done this evening. I need to wash dishes, feed the cats one more time, and empty all of the waste-baskets as tomorrow is trash day. Oh man I need to take the trash cans to the alley too, and it is freezing outside.  Oh yeah better go and start dinner too 😉

Today’s Outing

Today we are out to run a few errands, and the weather is perfect. It is supposed to be 74  today, but only 44 tomorrow. Better get everything done today! Here is the plan:

  • Wal-Mart for Sweet Potatoes and Shredded Cheese (which I forgot last time)
  • Walgreens for Pull-Ups-their brand is on sale this week
  • Visit James at work-hubby is working open to close today
  • Car Wash-the  boy’s might be a little grumpy, but my car is a mess
  • Put away 3 loads of laundry
  • Wash and put away clean dishes
  • Empty Upstairs waste baskets (if needed)
  • Empty Downstairs waste baskets (if needed)
  • Clean the litter-box (much needed)
  • Take out the trash

I wish the warmer weather would stick around just a little longer 😉

Catching Up Around the House

My mom visited yesterday, and helped me out with all of the shopping for the week. It was a busy day, but we got just about everything finished. She had lots of fun getting to hang out with the kids too. Today the boys and I are staying in and catching up around the house, here is the plan for today:

  • Dishes, Dishes, Dishes, those really seem to pile up quick around here
  • Put away 4 loads of laundry
  • Empty the downstairs waste baskets
  • Take out the trash
  • Maybe lunch with hubby, he mentioned wanting to check out a new B-B-Q Place in town

I woke up with a migraine  this morning, so I hope after a few cups of coffee I’ll be feeling a little better, and ready to tackle those dishes 😉

Today is going to be busy

Today is going to be one busy day, and I’m still feeling a little under the weather. Its time to gather up some energy and get going. Here is the plan for today:

  • Shop at Wal-Mart (we are out of everything at home)
  • Shop at Walgreens (sale on Kleenexes 2 @ $1.99 much needed item)
  • Dylan’s Doctor appointment @ 2:00 p.m.
  • Put away 4 loads of laundry
  • Stock James office fridge
  • Empty Upstairs Waste Baskets
  • Empty Downstairs Waste Baskets
  • Take out the trash
  • Fill the pet food bins
  • Change the  litter-box
  • Clean out the Fridge
  • Wash dishes and put away clean dishes

I hope I can make a dent in today’s to do list. I’m also taking both kids with me to the Doctor, so I hope that Thade will be good. Wish me luck 😉

November Projects

Well last month I literally got nothing finished at all. I have no idea how or why that happened, so this month I am going to try harder (as Thade would say). This month is all about the big two holidays Thanksgiving and Christmas, and all of the shopping and cleaning that comes with them. Here is what I hope to get accomplished in November:

  • Start and Finish my Christmas Shopping
  • Deep Clean and Organize the Kitchen
  • Deep Clean the Dining Room for Thanksgiving
  • Deep Clean the Living Room for Thanksgiving
  • Deep Clean the Foyer for Thanksgiving
  • Deep Clean both Bathrooms for Thanksgiving
  • Finish Christmas Sewing Projects
  • Get Christmas Pictures of the Boys (or I’m going to be in trouble with the Grandma’s)
  • Start the Christmas decorating, right after Thanksgiving

I hope November is a little more productive than October was 😉 Check back in to see how the projects are going 🙂
