June is One Busy Month

This month quickly became the month of way too much to do with one stressed out Mommy trying to make sure everyone is at the right place at the right time.

I tried to simplify all of Thade’s activities by using stickers. He can look at the calendar and see if there is just one sticker, only one event for the day, most days there are two to three stickers ; ) I also plan my errands for the time that Thade is at an activity. I can get those little errands finished quickly with a limited amount of time

In the next week Thade starts Craft Camp which is daily, he is also still going to Day Camp (3 days) and T-Ball too. It is going to be one busy week, and I’m already looking forward to July… So far we have nothing planned for the entire month : )

Its Cleaning Time

Today I’m getting the house ready for company tomorrow. I’ll be serving a “Thanks For Moms” Mother’s Day dinner. We are having Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Stuffing, Chocolate Pie, and Homemade Apricot Pie, kinda like Thanksgiving in May 🙂 I’m going to get a jump start on the pies today, and spend the rest of the day cleaning up around the house. Here is the plan for today:

  • Clean Both Bathrooms
  • Bring Trash Cans to the Yard, and empty all Trash Cans around the house
  • Put away 5 loads of laundry
  • Wash all of the dishes hanging out in the kitchen
  • Make Both Pies
  • Clean the Dining Room
  • Wrap the Mother’s Day Gifts

The weather looks like it is going to be extra rainy today, so I hope to get all of the chores accomplished. We’ll see how it goes, I’m having way too much fun playing on my new laptop 😉

Rainy Tuesday

The weather is cold and rainy today, but that is fine with me 🙂 I need a day to spend at home catching up on some cleaning tasks! Here is the plan for today:

  • Bake 12 Banana Muffins and 12 Strawberry Banana Muffins
  • Laundry Catch-Up Day!!!
  • Dishes Catch-Up Day!!!
  • Change the Boy’s Bedding
  • Start Cleaning Hubby’s Office
  • Make Turkey Stock
  • Plan this weeks lunches
  • Cross Stitch my little project, if the boy’s will let me 😉

I must admit this rainy weather is making me a little sleepy, it would be a great day to curl up on the couch and take a nice long nap. I had better do all those chores instead 😉

One Busy Day

There is a lot to do today, and I’m lacking energy due to a teething baby. Tomorrow is the big party, Dylan’s Birthday and Thade’s Soccer Game Party. We are having a little BBQ, and both sides of the family are visiting and attending the game. Lots to do today, I had better go and get to it:

  • Clean both bathrooms
  • Deep Clean downstairs, tidy just a little bit upstairs
  • Dylan has his One Year Check-Up + Shots this afternoon, fun
  • Prep the veggies for tomorrow
  • Bake Cupcakes for tomorrow
  • Bake Banana Muffins, I have 3 Bananas that need to be used

It is going to be a busy day, and the weather has turned yucky. Tomorrow it is going to be rainy, and cold, we’ll see if the game is still on… Hope everyone is having a great Friday. Do you have a busy weekend planned?

Tuesday’s To Do’s

It looks like it is going to be a busy day, and the weather is freezing and windy, great. I’ve got a few more cleaning tasks to do around the house, and the kiddos and I are running a few errands too. Here is the plan for today:

  • Go to Walgreens! This week they have their brand of Diapers and Pull-Ups on sale for just $5.99, I’m stocking up on these necessities
  • I need to do a little more research for my Nico in the Pursuit of Savings series, so I’ll be checking out1-2 stores today
  • Thade has Soccer Practice at 5:45 p.m. today, we’ll see if he is feeling up to it
  • I have 6 loads of laundry to put away, none to wash though, all caught up!
  • I have to deep clean the upstairs bathroom, and get rid of all of those flu-bug germs, this is a task that I am dreading today…
  • Get an Oil Change in my car, hubby might have an out of town meeting this week, and I need to make sure that my car is ready to go. I also need to clean it out too 😉

We’ll see if the weather cooperates today, it is awfully windy at the moment. Have a great day everybody!
