James and I thought it would be cool to get Thade Guitar Hero as a present for preschool graduation. I sent James shopping and he came home with the entire band.

I’m happy that he got the entire set too, this game is way too much fun. We all stayed up late and sang our hearts out, and laughed a lot along the way too. I’m also happy that my neighbors didn’t call the cops on me as I belted out Coming Down the Mountain by Jane’s Addiction in the middle of the night.I see a career in Karaoke in my near future.

I’m kinda in love with my new hair!

Saturday was a blast, and I had so much fun relaxing at the Courtland Day Spa. If only I could spend every afternoon there… I had a 30 minute pedicure, and now I have pretty Fire Engine Red nails for Spring, and then I decided to get brave and let my stylist do whatever she wanted to my hair.

She pulled my hair back into a ponytail, and then cut it all off! Kat is a super genius when it comes to hair, and I really really really love my new style. I don’t think that I’ll ever be able to make my hair look as awesome as she did, but I’ll give it my best try. I was really happy too, I had enough hair to donate to Locks of Love, and that is a fantastic cause.

My hubby was too sweet to give me the afternoon off at the Courtland, and he even let me splurge on some Aveda Shampoo and Conditioner too, o.k. now I’m super spoiled.

Have I mentioned before that I really detest my hair…

Lately it has gotten out of control. It is messy and falling out, thanks to being preggers, and it does absolutely nothing. It really doesn’t have a style to it, unless you count the lazy half bun/knot on the back of my head.  It is at that point where it is just too long, and it is driving me crazy, and it has to go today!!!!!

Luckily James got me an afternoon at the Courtland Day Spa for Mother’s Day. This afternoon I’ll be getting a much needed hair cut with style, and a very much needed pedicure too. I’ll also be getting an afternoon off from boyland. I can’t wait.

Happy Earth Day!

My boy’s woke up extra early today, and Thade yelled out Happy Earth Day. I’m glad to see my big kid excited about Earth Day, and there are even a few Earth Day activities planned at pre-school today. Thade also wants to help pick up all of the garbage in the front yard, and I think that sounds like a pretty good Earth Day project to me too. Maybe we can get a few plants planted too, and I bet Thade will hug a tree or two, too.

Last night I wasn’t feeling too good at dinner-time, so I made a quick meal for my family, and I attempted to eat some Ramen. Usually Ramen and I are best friends, but last night we were brutal enemies.  As the evening went on, and it was nearing the kid’s bedtime, I was finally starving. I ran downstairs and James was working on the computer, but he looked up and asked me what I needed…

Nico: Wendy’s? I’m sooooo hungry.

James: You know I can’t say no to a pregnancy craving… Number 5 plain?

Nico: Yep, you are the best.

James grabbed his keys, and headed out the door. I got Thade ready for bed, and just in time. James came home with a delicious dinner for me, and I really appreciated it. He is such a sweetie, and will always go out of his way to keep his wifey happy. I should probably make him an awesome dinner tonight to say thanks.
