Catching Up

Spring break is in full swing over here, and this is the first time I’ve had a minute to get on my laptop. I’ve been mostly living every waking moment in the kitchen cooking the next meal, or in the utility room working on another load of laundry. Oh goodness, it has been a long week over here.

The kids were pretty good at first, but the novelty of Spring break has quickly worn off. They are now fighting every two seconds, or completely bored. Come on Tuesday!!!

On a happier note, James and I did get away for just a bit. My mom came up and watched the kids, so we could have a night away. We got some pretty epic shopping done, and got a few moments just the two of us. It was great to have a day away, but we were happy to be back home.

This weekend, the weather is lovely, but I’ve barely been outside. I did make it out to check on the baby plants, and throw the ball for Mia. It is so nice to see the sunshine though.

Time to get back to the kitchen, the dirty dishes are calling my name.

Spring Break So Far

So far this Spring Break we’ve been taking it easy. No scheduled plans, just enjoying the warm weather, spending some time with friends, and spending energy with a much needed trip outdoor to the local park.

There has also been a lot of crafting, book reading, and pie baking going on too. So far Spring Break has been pretty nice.

Hello Spring Break

Well the kiddos are home and off till the 24th for Spring Break. The video games, and bickering have already started, and the snacks are disappearing too.

So far our only plans are to get Agnes and Thade a much needed hair-cut, other than that our schedule is free to do whatever. The weather looks like it just might cooperate this year too.

We even got to sleep in a bit this morning too. Time to bum around the house a bit, and do a little bit of crocheting.

Happy Friday!

Throw-Away Day

Today was Agnes’ last day at preschool before Spring Break, and the boy’s is tomorrow. I had big intentions of cleaning house, putting away laundry, and baking some homemade goodies, but instead I spent some quality time with the couch.

Oh well, lazy days are good days too.

Hello Friday

I’m so ready for the weekend, or at least I’m ready for a day to sleep in, and not go out into the cold. My only plans for this weekend are to bake some chocolate chip cookies, and work on my crocheted blanket projects.

Maybe I’ll get around to giving the pup a bath too…

What about you… Do you have any indoor plans for the weekend?
