Today the kids have a day off from school. Our district didn’t use this year’s snow-days, so they took one today. I’m happy that it isn’t snowing though. The kids are also off on Friday due to an elementary planning day, so this is an extra short week.

Today is a bit of a practice run for Summer. The tiny ones woke up extra early, and the biggest kid is still sound asleep. I’ve already figured out that I had better get up extra early on Summer days if I expect to get anything done. I’m already way behind on the dishes, and laundry.

This week has flown by way too quickly. The weather has cooled back off, so I haven’t been working in the garden. Agnes has been a bit under the weather, so that is keeping us indoors too. The boys are quickly counting down the days until the start of Summer break. I’m just trying to keep all of them fed, and the house cleaned…

This morning I got to help a bit at Agnes’ preschool. It was so much fun. I can’t believe that those little kiddos are going to graduate next month.

Time to get in the kitchen, and get ready for the weekend. The big kids will be home and hungry before I know it.

Agnes is doing so much better today, thank goodness. We made it to the store, and got the house stocked back up for the week.

It has been a bit stormy again, and I really hope to work on the yard soon. We’ve been visiting every gardening aisle, and I am so anxious to get some plants. We’ve been cleaning out the north side of the backyard, and I’ve got a bunch of ideas. I just need the weather to cooperate.

If I counted up the days on the calendar correctly, the kids just have thirty-four days left of school. Agnes has even less. She only goes to preschool just three days a week, and we have several days off during April and May.

I had better get ready now. This last little bit of the school year is going to go by way too fast.

Today is the kiddos last day of Spring Break. It has been a pretty great one, but it is time to the kids to get back to the school routine. It is also time for me to get back to the house routine.

We are enjoying one last lazy day, bumming around the house. It might be a little tricky getting up and at it tomorrow morning. Here’s to one more day of Spring Break.
