Have I mentioned this a time or two before… The season of Summer absolutely drives me crazy! It is three solid months of not being able to sleep, complete a thought, accomplish a goal, non-stop cooking, cleaning, laundering, toilet flushing, turn-offer of all things electric, and referee to constant kid fights, and I’m a personal assistant to my three most demanding bosses.
I’m on week one, and I’m exhausted…

On Tuesday we wrapped up the school year, and the kids were pretty excited for Summer break.
Nana surprised me with a visit, lunch at our favorite local spot, and this cute lounge for the foyer.
She also brought tiny kitties!!! Well, we didn’t get to keep them, they already have a loving home to go to, but we did get to meet them.
It was a lovely day, and I was thankful to spend some time with my Mom. I can’t remember the last time we had a quiet meal together.

We have just two more days left of the school year.
The homework and big projects are complete. The lockers and desks are cleaned out too. Just two more early mornings, and then hello lazy days.
