The Last Two Weeks

The last two weeks have been non-stop. I haven’t felt too fantastic, and the day to day has been wearing on me a bit. I’m still not caught up around the house, but I figure the mess wasn’t made in a day, it isn’t going to be perfect in a day either. Ugh, maybe I just need another cup of coffee.

Here’s what we’ve been up to over the last two weeks.

Agnes is still on her accessories kick. I’ve been making her lots of little headbands, and I’m also crocheting a new blanket for Thade.

Someone should have warned me that Middle School comes with projects, like every single day, every single week. Thade needed a snowman for a presentation, and this week it is Greek Foods for Social Studies. And poster board for math…

He has been learning to sew in Home Ec. , so he helped out a lot with the snowman project.

The snowman turned out pretty well, and Thade wrote a good essay about him too.

Dylan was in the Spelling Bee. He was so excited.

He made it all the way to round six. He got stumped on “stomach” , but that one stumps me too.

James and the boys surprised Agnes and I with flowers for Valentine’s Day! Agnes was absolutely thrilled.

The flowers were such a sweet surprise.

Speaking of Agnes, she lost another tooth!

The kids had a day out of school, and my mom came up for a visit. Thade also had a friend over for the day. The boys broke out all of the nerf guns and had a huge battle downstairs.

She brought along some birthday gifts for me too.

I grabbed my favorite snack for my birthday cake. And a large Dr Pepper for good measure.

We’ve also had visits from Grandma, Aunt Jill, and the twins too. I forgot to get pictures, cause I was too busy snuggling my baby nieces.

Time to relax a bit…

I need a little break for a bit.

Hello Monday

Well today started off with one little kiddo not feeling too good. Dylan is staying home from school today, and I just hope that it is a case of too much Super Bowl fun.

We’ll be staying close to home today. I’m keeping my phone close, just in case the other two kiddos decide to join Dylan man on the couch.
