Summertime Plans Without Planning

The boys have just four days left of school, and Agnes is down to her last two days of preschool. Summer is almost here. The big kids are already stating the fact that they are bored, and the little lady can’t wait for school to start.

I’ve been researching (and price checking) a few Summer day trips for the kiddos and I, for those days when we really need a day out of the house. For the most part though,  I’m trying my best to keep the Summer simple,  plan free, and relaxed.

I just hope that the kids will sleep in a few days this Summer. What about you… What are you looking forward to, as Summer is just around the corner?

From Start To Finish

Last night Agnes graduated from preschool. There was an adorable program, complete with graduation certificates. Agnes had the best time, but I can’t believe that she has already completed preschool.

This school-year has been the fastest so far. All three kids are entering new schools next year, and all three kids will be in school full time. There will be so many new changes, and schedules to adapt to once August arrives.

Practice Summer

Today the kids have a day off from school. Our district didn’t use this year’s snow-days, so they took one today. I’m happy that it isn’t snowing though. The kids are also off on Friday due to an elementary planning day, so this is an extra short week.

Today is a bit of a practice run for Summer. The tiny ones woke up extra early, and the biggest kid is still sound asleep. I’ve already figured out that I had better get up extra early on Summer days if I expect to get anything done. I’m already way behind on the dishes, and laundry.

Time to get back to it. Happy Monday to you!
