Favorite Photos From May

Looking back at my camera roll for the month, I seemed to have missed most of the month. May was crazy and my mind was on one thing, getting the kiddos out of school and home for the Summer. I got a few cool photos though, and hopefully in June, I’ll have a few more.

In May we got the garden up and going. I seriously love tiny okra plants, they are too cute.

I took this one while we were out for a walk, it is one of my favorite landmarks in town. The steeple is so tall it is cutting through the clouds.

It’s a rare photo of the kiddos, all 3, all together in one photo.

Sneaky little Agnes.

The boys being adorable and watching Uncle Rob’s video for the seventh time.

This last one is the tree from our bedroom window. I used the Hipstamatic app on my phone and the screen on the window makes the tree look like needlepoint.

May’s Tasty Treats

May seemed to be one of those months that flew by, and I didn’t grab my camera in time to take too many pictures. I do have a few photos to share. Trust me I’m in the kitchen more than ever, I just need to remember my camera.

I made a few batches of delicious POG juice. I’ll be making more of this tasty treat in June too.

I whipped up a batch of Biscuits for lunch, they are such a tasty side.

I’ll have this recipe up soon, it’s Sugar Dumplings. So crazy good, but really not good for you, but eat them anyway because they are worth it.

I planned a big family dinner for my Mom last weekend, and it was so much fun. There were lots of tasty dishes on the table.

I was a bit partial to the over sized Apricot pie, and the Panko Chicken, so tasty.

We’ll see what June brings. Having the kids home means I can spend a little more time creating tasty homemade treats. I have a few favorites in mind that I want to make again, now I just need to find the time.
