I’m slacking it up over here at Nicostuff, and I’ve missed a few posts that you are probably used to seeing around the first of the month… No Driving Days, and Coupon Savings. I’m still trying not to drive, and saving with coupons when I can, but I haven’t been keeping track of either of them, bad Nico. I hope to do better next month, and get back to posting!

We Made It Through The First Week
The last week has flown by, and we are settling into a new routine around our house. Thade is staying busy at school, and James is back to work, and missing his kiddos. I’m keeping up around the house with the little ones. Agnes is doing well, and sleeping a ton. It makes me a little nervous, the boy’s never slept, so it is really strange to have a newborn that loves to sleep. Dylan has taken on the role of big brother, and he is really enjoying being a big kid, and not the baby anymore.
I’ve set a goal to nurse Agnes for at least 6 months, but this time around it isn’t going as well as I hoped. She has a check-up later this week, so I’ll hopefully get some good advice from our family Doctor. The boy’s seemed to eat around the clock, but not little Agnes… I’ve become one worried Mommy this week.
I’ve been trying to take it easy around the house, but I’m feeling pretty good. I’ve got a post-op check-up today, so we’ll see what the Doctor says. I hope that it goes well, and the kiddos behave too. It is going to be a long day…
This Halloween

This Halloween was a different one… It’s the first one that I wasn’t able to take my kids trick-or-treating. I was happy when my friend Maggie volunteered to take the boy’s trick-or-treating early, because they could hardly wait to go. My brother Rob also came by to visit the kiddos and the boy’s were thrilled.

James had a busy day at work, but made it home as fast as he could to take the kiddos out trick-or-treating once more. The boys had a great time, and came home with a ton of candy. Thade is already planning his costume for next year, and Dylan is doing his best to sneak into the candy bowls and eat all of the Tootsie Rolls.
I hope that everyone had a safe and very Happy Halloween!
