The weather is going to be great today, and super lousy tomorrow. I need to get all of the errands finished today. Here is the plan for today:

On Thade’s actual birthday I made his very favorite meal for dinner: Chicken Fajitas, Bean & Cheese Burritos, Spanish Rice, Bean Dip, Cheese Dip, Tortilla Chips and Salsa. I served his meal Bento style, and he ate every single bite. I have been so pleased with his new found good eating habits, that I’m going to be on the lookout for more Bento kits 🙂
This morning my throat is worse, and the sinus pressure is driving me batty. Thade was up late last night with the sniffles, and Dylan was up late too. 7:00 a.m. arrived all too early this morning, and I needed to make breakfast.
This morning I attempted to make a Puffy Oven Pancake, it didn’t puff as much as I thought it would, maybe I over mixed it. Even though it wasn’t too fluffy James and I ate every bite of the Pancake. It was really delicious 🙂 I think I’ll add it to the breakfast menu!
I also had 2 large cups of coffee in my new coffee cup (thanks Hubby) with a box of Vicks scented Puffs (thanks Mom) to help out my head cold.
Well today is the big party for Thade, and Dylan and I are not feeling so great, it is our turn for the cold/flu/yucky stuff 🙁 I’m trying to rally and get everything ready for company at 3:30 p.m., but I’m just not feeling up to it. Thade thought it was pretty funny seeing Mommy climbing all around the dining room decorating with Balloons and Crepe Paper. Nico+standing on top of a chair+ balloons and tape= not a good idea 😉 Blowing up those 18 balloons has me feeling a bit woozy…
I’m still shopping with my coupons in 2008 and this year I hope to save even more. In January I saved a total of $45.96 just using coupons! I’d say its a great start to saving a little extra in the new year 🙂
