Nico’s Day Off :)

My hubby is taking off a few days next week, and I am taking off next Friday to have a little break too. Normally I stay home the day after Thanksgiving and avoid the shopping madness, but this year I’m venturing out of the house for a little pampering. I’m going to get my haircut and go to Starbucks. I’ll be all by myself, no boys, I can’t wait!

My super sweet Sister-in-Law gave me a gift certificate to get a haircut and style with her stylist, and who doesn’t love free beauty pampering.  I think a day away will do me good, and I’ll come home a more patient and semi-glamorous Mommy 😉

Here Comes the Cold Weather

The cooler weather moved in yesterday. I tried to get the kids out before it got too cold, but the weather beat me to it. I bundled up the little guys for just a bit of play-time in the yard, I think we only made it about 10 minutes 😉

Thade had a lot of fun playing in all of the leaves, he loves crunching them with his feet. Dylan was grumpy from teething, but the change of scenery helped a bit. My kitties stayed nice and warm inside, and looked out to see what we were doing in the chilly weather.
