Hubby’s home tomorrow

This week has been so crazy, my husband is at his convention in Nashville, and I am so happy to get him back home tomorrow. We are driving to Tulsa, Oklahoma (a six hour round trip for us) and I am hoping that my little one does better this time. We took daddy to Tulsa on Wednesday, and the little one was fine for the trip down, but the trip back was another story. He screamed and cried from the moment we left Tulsa, till we hit the city limits sign. My brother was with me, so he was a huge help! I am hoping for the best, and that the little guy will do better tomorrow.

I am still trying to pull a party together for the little guy, and I have a cake ordered so far. It is a NASCAR cake, so I just might have a theme. I haven’t been shopping for presents or anything. I really need to get started! There seems to be too little time, and too little energy from this tired mommy.

Busy Morning

We have been running around like crazy today. We have already visited my husband at work with breakfast, put gas in the car, I’ve changed 3 diapers, and gotten a phone call from my doctor’s office to pick up a form, and whoops I forgot to eat breakfast. So I guess it is one more cup of coffee for me, and then I gotta make the hubby lunch, and finish those errands.

Planning for a toddler’s birthday

My son is turning 2 at the end of this month, and I’m still shocked at how the time has gone by. I am however stuck on what to do for his birthday. I have no ideas, but I am up to suggestions. Any ideas? Please let me know!

130 is pretty close!

Last night we went on our date night, and it was so much fun! My husband took me bowling and to dinner. My first game, I bowled a 130, which is 20 points shy of me getting my own bowling ball. I still need more practice, but I am going to try my hardest. Dinner out was so nice, we both got to sit down and relax. Our little one did great with a sitter, so we are planning many more date nights. I hope we get to go bowling again, I really want to get my own bowling ball!

I’m one tired Nico

I need a break, I don’t think that I have the energy to clean up the livingroom one more time today, or sweep the kitchen floor for the third time today. I am worn out. The weather is better and the snow is melting, and my son wants to walk everywhere, so he is a ton of fun to chase around. We went and visited my husband at work, and took him lunch, he has been busy too. I think that we both need a break. We are having a baby-sitter come over on Friday night, to watch the little guy, so we can have a night out. I’m excited about that, I have no idea what he has planned, but it will be nice to get out of the house.
