Nico’s New Year’s Resolutions

Happy New Year to all! We celebrated early last night, and I was thinking about my resolutions for the new year. I try to make some every year, but I rarely stick to them, but this year I am going to try my best.
1. Bowl a game of 150
2. Try to be a better person
3. Practice more patience
4. Try new foods ( I still have my baby weight, so it is pointless to try to lose weight)
5. Spend a little more time on myslelf

That is all I have so far. I hope that everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!

Christmas 2.0

The house is finally almost all cleaned up from Christmas, and it only took me a week to do it. I’m still finding homes for the presents, and putting away all the decorations. We have been running errands all week, and taking care of all of those things that you need to take care of before the new year, a.k.a. taxes. Maddie is back from the vet, he got fixed for the new year, and he is recovering well. Loki, and the little guy missed Maddie a bunch. I missed him too, but I didn’t miss him coming in to wake me up at 2:00 a.m. Anyway we are going out to dinner tonight, and off to do some shopping. Gotta hit those after Christmas sales! Happy New Year!

Just a simple gallon of Milk please

I decided to try and make a really quick trip to the grocery store today, and that was a pretty bad idea. I just needed a few items: milk, bread, you know just the little stuff. The store was sooooo packed, my little trip took forever! My little one was very good, and took the time to say hello to everybody, and launch almost everything out of the shopping cart. The longer I was there waiting to get in line, the more I thought to myself, I really don’t want to come back here ever, so I had better get a few more things. Better safe than sorry, better grab those cookies, oh yeah and a magazine too. Anyway we made it through the craziness, and the little shopper is down for a late nap. Better go and wrap those last gifts, and get caught back up with the celeb gossip. Happpy Holidays, and a Very Merry Christmas to all!

Oh the Christmas Mess we’ve made

Today I have to clean!!! I sat around and slacked on the couch yesterday and got nothing done. I barely got the kitchen cleaned in time to cook dinner, the laundry is piling up, and there is wrapping paper everywhere. We had an early Christmas celebration on Sunday,it was lots of fun, and nice to break up the holiday. Our son got lots of new toys (that need to be programmed),lots of hugs, and cookies to eat. My husband and I had fun opening gifts, and taking pictures. But oh the mess that was left behind… I couldn’t even get started yesterday, I kept thinking I know that I need to do something, but where to start. So today I must clean and get my house back in order, and get ready for the next Christmas celebration. And then clean again.

Pressed for Time

O.K., so we got all the paperwork taken care of on my new car yesterday, and I picked up a perfect gift for my Mother in law. Tomorrow is grocery shopping day, and I’ve got my list made, and cupons ready too. I’m getting things all together, but I’m still stressed out. I haven’t gotten all of my cleaning done yet, and my little one is finally down for a nap(a few hours too late), and I have a moment to myself, but I have no idea where to start. I really don’t want to go and change the litter boxes, but then again I really don’t feel like cleaning the bathroom either. Its cold and windy outside today, so I don’t feel like finishing up those errands. I seem to have just enough time not to get anything accomplished, and not enough time to do what I want… I really wish that Starbucks delivered!
