My little guy is actually sitting quietly for a moment, enjoying a cup of milk. He is finally starting to sleep through the night (it only took about 20 months), so I’m finally a little more rest too. I’m sitting here trying to think of all the things we need to get done today, and the Christmas card mailing list that I need to make. Still need to get that shopping done, and figure out what to make for dinner, and so on. Maybe another cup of coffee is what I really need!

Feeling more like November
It never fails, the day that the errands must be run, the weather is freezing outside! But we got them all done, and the little guy got a late nap. We are still doing all the final items and getting all the business taken care of at the former house. I still don’t have my Christmas shopping done, but I got a pretty good start last night. Oh well tomorrow is another cold day, and a good day to stay inside, and shop online!
Looking for a New Home
I still can’t believe that our house finally sold. I’m so excited, and now we are busy driving around town looking for a new home. It seems like we are always moving in Winter, so I told my husband that we might want to wait untill the new year to move, because we only move when it snows. We have found a couple of homes that we like, but it is a big decision to make. I know that we will find the perfect home whenever we are ready.
Rushing Around Town
Ever the on-the-go Mommy today is errands day. Visit hubby at work, get docs signed on the house, post office, nap (for the toddler), and ice cream later. The new happy news:Our pevious home is being sold on Friday! I can’t wait! I’m excited, but a little sad at the same time. We put a lot of ourselves in that home, but I’m glad that someone else loves it as much as we did. I’m excited too, because now we can look for another home, and I can paint, and all my nico touches to it! Gotta go, laundry is calling.
Worried About The Weather!
I was up late last night, trying to get the teething toddler to calm down, and get some sleep,so I picked up a magazine and started reading all about global warming. And I worried all night about it. It concerns me because its supposed to be eighty three degrees today, and its November! Its crazy, I never thought that I would still be dressing my little one in his summer clothes in the latter parts of fall.
So it got me thinking about what I could do to help. I live in a small town in Kansas, and the town only runs a recycling program during the warmer months. But its still warm now, why not run the program all year? Trash service doesn’t pick up recycleables, and I think that they should! We need to do something now, before the weather gets any warmer!
