The weather was extra nice today, and my best friend Shaunna was heading over with her son. We thought it would be fun for the kiddos to play in the backyard, and enjoy the Winter Sunshine.
She also brought along her rake, so we could get to work on the garden. While the kids played, we raked 6 bags of leaves out of the side yard, and I weeded the flower beds, just a bit. It is way more fun working on the yard with your best friend, than all by yourself. This week I’ve taken out 10 bags of leaves, so I hope that I’m all done.
It looks like we are off to a great start on the yard so far, and I can’t wait to start planting the veggie garden.
It was a blast working with you!! I came home and weeded my rock bed when I got home and did some cleaning up outside. Sheldon is so wore out! It will be an early night for him! Lots of Love! 🙂

I was so bummed to miss your call today! I am glad you got things done around the yard. Friends make the time go by so much better. We went out this afternoon and got the trash picked up. I want to rake my leaves tomorrow, among many other things that need done. I am going to start some seeds this weekend. Hooray for warmer weather!!

Of course there would be people there today while I was hibernating! Maybe I will stay awake Thursday and Corrynn can play. She is getting better with playing and sharing, unless it involves her new bike lol.

Thanks Marva! We have a few days of nice weather this week, and I hope to take advantage of the extra sunshine. There is a lot to be done around the yard for Springtime, no mowing just yet though 😉
