I always pack extra whenever I’m taking the kids anywhere. Two unpacked outings while Thade was teething taught me to bring that extra set of clothes, just in case 😉 My trusty Dale Jr soft sided cooler is a little cramped with all of the boy’s items, so I’m switching to a bigger bag. I thought it would be fun to share my list of items I’m packing.
My two bags: One diaper bag to carry, and an extra bag filled with items that I might need.
This was my hospital bag, but I’m going to use it as my extra bag. Here is the list:
- 10 Diapers
- 6 Training Pants
- 2 changes of clothes( 1 cool 1 warm) and one pair of socks for Thade
- 4 changes of clothes (2 cool 2 warm) and one pair of socks for Dylan
- 2 Blankets
- 5 Burp Cloths
- Medication, Diaper Cream, Trial Size Lotion, Trial size Baby Wash, All-in-One Washcloth, Hand Sanitizer, and emergency items for the boy’s.
The Diaper Bag, my biggest and heaviest one. Here is the list:
- Mommy’s items: wallet, cell phone, coupons, the usual stuff 😉
- 3 Training Pants
- 3 Diapers
- Travel size pack of Homemade Wipes
- Changing Pad
- One Blanket
- One Burp Cloth
- One Change of Clothes for Dylan
- A pack of snacks for Thade
- A pack of toys and teethers for Dylan
- 2 Binky’s for Dylan
- One sippy cup for Thade
It looks like a lot of stuff. I think it is better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it 🙂 Do you pack extra items for outings? If so what do you bring along?
I couldn’t understand some parts of this article List at NicoStuff.com, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
Thanks Daniel! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog.
