It is getting pretty cold outside. This morning when I took Thade to school it was 43, and I just looked and it is now 32, and dropping. We are definitely indoors for today and probably tomorrow too.
To help keep the birds fed during this cold snap, all of the kiddos made Pine cone Bird Feeders at preschool today. Thade found a great spot on our tree, so we can watch the birds from the window. Thade has also kept busy by drwaing pictures of Frosty the Snowman, he is really hoping that this cold weather will bring along some snow.

Thanks Nana! Stay warm out there, it is already so cold here. Thade was so happy to help the birds today, and he is really hoping that there will be snow tonight.
It is so cold! I do feel good to not be in North Dakota though. No way I could handle -30! Brendan keeps hoping for snow too. I am just waiting for spring. I have always loved making pine cone feeders for the birds. We still have some red yarn hanging from the trees from years ago lol.
Thanks Stacey! I agree, I hope that the weather improves soon for everyone in North Dakota and Minnesota. I can’t believe just how low those temps are.
We are staying in today, I know the kiddos will be grumpy, but it is just too cold to get out. Thade is still hoping for some snow, but not me 😉
