Whew! It is now almost 10:00 p.m. and I’m finally finished with some of the Christmas cookies. Today I have been busy in the kitchen baking up a storm.
I no-baked 3 dozen No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies.
Then on to 8 dozen Snickerdoodles.
Thade really wanted a batch of Star shaped Sugar Cookies, and Christmas Trees too. So I made a big batch of Green and Yellow Icing.
And another 3 dozen cookies.
I finally finished icing the Sugar Cookies this evening, and I bet these cute cookies will go fast.
So far the cookie count is up to 14 dozen cookies, and I’ve still got a lot of Christmas goodies to bake too. After all of that baking, this cookie chef needs a late night snack!

Wow! I am impressed Nicole, they look great 🙂 Ellie
Lots of Baking! Can you share your sugar cookie recipe when you get a moment? Did you spread the icing with a knife or through a ziplock bad? I’ve never tried the iced sugar cookies before and really want to this year. Jake and I made 3 doz. peanut blossom cookies yesterday to hand out to special people in our neighborhood.
Thanks Ellie! The kiddos and I had fun spending all day in the kitchen, and I can’t wait to deliver all of these goodies. How is your Christmas baking going?
Thanks Heather! Your peanut blossom cookies sound so good, I love anything with peanut butter. For the Sugar Cookies, I’m using the Betty Crocker recipe, but I let my dough hang out in the fridge for 3-4 hours, so it is easier to roll out. I used a knife to spread the icing, but piping the icing would work well too. Just make sure and add your sprinkles or sugar to the cookies, before the icing sets. Happy Christmas cookie baking 🙂
HOLY COW WOMEN!!!! That is a bunch of cookies! I should of left you a key to my house so you could use my counters!!! Looks yummy!!! Shaunna
Thanks Shaunna! There were cookies all over the kitchen yesterday, and Dylan was thrilled 🙂 We hope that you are doing well, and we miss you like crazy!
Yum, I bet your kitchen smells delicous, Nico!
Thanks Susan! You are too sweet 🙂 I just love scent of Snickerdoodles 🙂 Thade was really excited about the Sugar Cookies, I just wish that they had turned out a bit prettier 😉
Thanks for the cookie knowledge! Maybe tomorrow I’ll tackle sugar cookies. Chex mix is on my must do list.
Thanks Heather! Yum! We all love Chex Mix over here 🙂 Give the Sugar Cookies a try, and let me know how the baking goes. Merry Christmas!
