When I was Room Mommy at Thade’s preschool I brought along Handmade Bears and Teddy Bear Snack Mix for all of the kiddos. The snack mix is easy to make, and super tasty too.
Here is what you need:
- One big bowl, one wooden spoon, treat bags, embroidery floss, and a best friend to help you fill all of those bags
- One bag of M&M’s
- 1/2 bag of Mini Marshmallows
- One Box of Chocolate Chip Teddy Grahams
- One Box of Honey Teddy Grahams
Combine all of the ingredients, and give it a good stir. We used Treat Bags to store our snack mix, but you could store the Snack Mix in any air tight container.
My best friend came over to help me fill all of the bags, and then we assembled the bears for Preschool. It was a fun afternoon project, and the preschoolers loved the treats too.

Those were so cute! The snack mix looks yummy! I know my boys will enjoy it. Blessings!
Thanks Marva! The snack mix was so tasty, and the kiddos really liked it. The bears were fun to sew too, but next time I don’t think I will sew quite as many, it took me a good week to stuff and sew them all 🙂
Those bears do look adorable with the snack mix added! What a fun idea! Are you planning any creative baking for Valentine’s Day? We hosted friends last night for dinner and Jake and I decorated cupcakes with heart jimmy mix. Lots of fun!
I can’t believe it’s been a year since I started reading/enjoying your blog! I had your site bookmarked since last Feb 14th!!
Thanks Heather! Yum, your cupcakes sound so tasty!I just love Valentine’s goodies 🙂 I’m helping my friend cater a Valentine’s Day dinner, and I’m making Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, Mini Bundt Cakes, Sweetheart Cookies, and Dinner Rolls for at least 30 people. I think at home I’ll probably make some special cookies for the kiddos, and a Cherry Pie for Valentine’s Day too 🙂
That is cool that you have been reading my blog for a year, you just made my day! Sending big hugs your way 🙂
awwww, glad I made your day! I went to my first Moms Group outing today to a firehall. Jake loved sitting in the firetruck! Thank you for your encouragement when I was unsure of joining a group. I think this will be really good for me. Making new mommy friends is such a treat! Your church menu sounds so yummy! I forgot you were doing that!
Thanks Heather! Cool meeting, it sounds like Jake had a great time too. I’m really proud of you for getting out there and giving the Moms group a try, I know our local MOPS group has really helped me out too. Keep up the great work 🙂 Sending big hugs your way!
