I think my garden is just about done for the season. The weather is starting to turn cooler, and the Autumn rains will be here more often than not.
IÂ found one teeny tiny watermelon left hiding in the garden. Thanks in part to the cool weather, I don’t think it will grow any bigger, but it might be a nice treat for a little bird, or Spencer…

Thanks Marva! I have big plans for our garden next year. James and I have been talking about expanding our small garden into another area of the backyard. I’m planning on having a Strawberry Patch where my garden is now. I’ll be moving the veggies to the side of the yard. I’ll definitely be planting Okra, no one carries it locally 😉
Of course I’ll be e-mailing you for tips on helping my garden grow 🙂

Strawberries are fun and easy to grow. This year I had my best tomatoes ever and I planted them in pots instead of the ground.

Thanks Susan! I love watermelon too 🙂 I only found two on the vines, and they were teeny tiny, but super-cute 😉 I did have a few cantaloupes that were so tasty. I hope that next year’s garden produces even more tasty fruits and veggies.
