Sad To See Them Go

So far the Spring weather hasn’t been to kind to our Springtime plants and flowers. We had a few nice days, and our tree finally started to bud, and then we heard the impending weather forecast. Steady rain, with falling temps, turning to snow and ice with accumulations of 4-8 inches. They are even calling for Thunder snow today, which I kinda think is really cool (I’m a bit of a weather nerd), but the plants just aren’t going to make it this time.

I only had about five tulips that were getting ready to bloom, so I decided to clip them and bring them inside. If we couldn’t enjoy them outside, at least we could enjoy them for a little while indoors.

The Tulips do look a little happier indoors though…

  1. The tulips are beautiful! Tulips are my absolute favorite! My husband loves the wacky/wicked weather too.

Stay warm and safe. Have a happy and fun weekend. We are dodging tornaods again here!

    Blessings!

  2. Thanks Marva! Stay safe, I hope that the bad weather is our of your neck of the woods fast! We have snow that just moved in, and Flood Warnings in the area, it looks like this is going to be quite a weekend of weather.

  3. Thanks Nana! I’m glad that you had fun at the 3 Doors Down show last night, and I’m glad that you missed the bad weather too. The snow just started here, but in Wichita they had 28 + inches with 9 foot snow drifts, I hope we don’t get that much snow here.
