Ok, so the kids finally went back to school on Monday, and I was on track to get the house back together, laundry caught up, and dishes caught up too. All of the pipes had thawed, and things were looking up.

My youngest has been struggling (again) with school/stress/motivation to do homework, you name it, she is having a tough time right now. The boys are learning to put in contacts this week. It is taking a bit of time in the morning, but they are starting to get the hang of it.

By Wednesday, the kitchen sink started acting up again… I am really growing tired of plumbing issues. I also took my oldest to the DMV to get his unrestricted license. He was able to preregister to vote as well. It was pretty cool getting to watch it happen.

By Thursday the kitchen sink was worse, and it is still torn apart and not cooperating today. I’m washing dishes in the Utility Room, which isn’t the most convenient, but it gets the job done.

Next week I’ll call the plumber again, and get on another wait list. This month has seriously been one calamity after another.
