One of my goals for this Holiday season is to get the kiddos and me involved with community events, and help out a bit if we can. On the Church bulletin I spotted a great opportunity to help. In November there are two community dinners that need desserts, and you know I love to bake.
I’m planning on baking two Dutch Apple Pies for the first dinner. For the second dinner I’ll be baking One Peach Pie, One Dutch Apple Pie, and an Apricot Bundt Cake for the Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The boy’s will get to help out with the delivery, and I know we’ll all feel happy about helping our community out.

How wonderful of you to help out! I always feel so good when I do some random act of kindness. Bless you!
OK, Ty update. I am on for Friday. My mom and brother will watch the kids, I am headed up that mountain(guite literally- the house is on top a mountain, you must take a shuttle bus to get up there)on Friday with camera and sign in hand. Any idea what I should put on my sign??? Basic Welcome Home or something more creative?? The show is supposed to air in Jan. It’s all so exciting! My mom and I are going up there tonight to watch progress. They are shuttling people up and back to view progress from 8a.m. till 8p.m. I’ll report tomorrow-
Thanks Heather! I love to bake around here, and I really love to help out too. I think it is very important that my boys learn to give and help their community as much as they can too.
I bet you can’t wait until Friday! “What about Welcome to Your New Home”!?! Have fun with your Mom too, and keep an eye out for that cutie Ty 😉
You got it(keep an eye out for Ty)!! I am super excited! The boys are with their Nana. Here’s hoping I get some pics!
Thanks Heather! That is great that Nana is helping out with your boys, I hope you have a great day 🙂
