Little Faces

My little guys love to watch the World go by the front door… They watch for the Trolley, and they look for neighbors walking dogs. They are always there to wave to the Mail Carrier early in the morning. Every so often I’ll catch them making silly faces out the front door too.

Little Button Bracelet

As you know, I love to make jewelry! Even thought Fall has arrived, I have a cute Summery Bracelet to share…

I’ve used Vintage Buttons,  Jump Rings, and a lot of patience to fashion the bracelet. I think that it would be cute in Turqouise and Chocolate Brown buttons too. If only I could find a vintage stash of those…

One More Trip to the Farmer’s Market

On Wednesday and Saturday mornings the Farmer’s Market meets just a few blocks from our house. I thought it would be fun to take Dylan for a little walk while the weather was nice and cool.

We came home with so many tasty finds. I also learned a few great gardening tips from a few local Organic Farmers. I picked up purple Bell Peppers, Green Peppers, Zucchini, Butternut Squash, New Potatoes, Tiny Pumpkins, a jar of Raspberry Jam, and a jar of Plum Jelly.

I also picked up a surprise gift for my Mom…

I thought she would like this little Summery blue bracelet.

Our Farmer’s Market is open until the middle of October, so I hope to visit the market a few more times with the kiddos.

To Decorate or Not

I’ve been noticing Halloween decorations popping up in the stores, and all over town. I wonder if it is too early to start decorating? Part of me thinks that the First Day of October is a great day to start decorating for Halloween, but when I see itty bitty cute pumpkins, I just can’t wait!

When do you start decorating for the holidays? Do you start early or wait till the last minute?

On a side note: I’ve just returned from running the Morning errands, and Dollar General already has Christmas decorations out! So maybe its not too early to start decorating.

Remembering…

We will always remember the sadness of today…

Praying for all of the families and loved ones lost.

May Peace be with all of our Nations, one day.
