Nine Months Ago…

0042

Nine months ago, we knew our lives would change forever. Dylan wasn’t even two years old,  Thade was keeping busy in pre-school, and I was happy and nervous all at the same time.

Nine months ago seemed like such a long time to get ready for your arrival, but the time has flown by. I’m still not quite ready, but I’m getting there.

Monthly Doctor visits, turned into two week appointments, and then I was seeing at least two Doctors twice a week, and waiting anxiously for the surgery date.  Before I knew it, I had my final two appointments, and I was giving my Doctor a big hug good-bye, till we meet again, in surgery.

Four ultrasounds, countless Doctor’s  appointments, and many prayers later, and you are almost here…

The boy’s and I can’t wait for your arrival.

It’s Beginning To Smell Alot Like Christmas

And guess what… I’m allergic!

0041

Yesterday I was stocking up the house, and making my way with 2 kiddos and one giant tummy through Wal-Mart, and that is when I could smell the Christmas aisle. I’m super allergic to “holiday scents” like clove and nutmeg, so I dread the holiday season, and wow there was a powerful holiday odor making its way through about 1/2 of the store. Believe me, my tummy wasn’t happy at all.

I ran as fast as I could, grabbed a few items,  and promptly ran back to the other side of the store where the smell was gone. Thade was mad that we couldn’t go and look through the Christmas stuff, but I was trying my best to keep my breakfast where it belonged. I’m already looking forward to Valentine’s Day, or any other unscented holiday.

The Last Few Days

The last few days have been so busy, I don’t even know where to begin…

Thursday was the last day of school for the week, and thank goodness it was, we had a lot to do. Friday was the MOPS Swap, and the kiddos couldn’t wait to go and see their friends. It was fun for me too, and I came home with lots of goodies. I picked up several items for the kitchen, a pink bouncy chair, clothes for Thade, and it was all free. Yep the MOPS swap rocked.

I also spent Friday calling parents to help with the Halloween party for next Friday. I am the head room Mom/coordinator for Thade’s class, and I was on the phone all day looking for helpers. I was happy that I had plenty of volunteers that will be at the party, and I’ll be calling everyone tomorrow with the supply list. Friday we started the massive shopping/stock-piling of the house. James was there to help me out, and we finished almost all of the errands.

Today I finished up the shopping errands with the kiddos, and kept really busy all day. There was cleaning, cooking, and more phone calls to be made. Tonight it is hair-cuts for the kiddos, and getting the suitcases packed too.

Tomorrow looks like it is going to be a busy day too, hopefully things will calm back down by Monday.
