Another Week Of Rain

Well it looks like we’ve got another week full of thunderstorms, and rain showers ahead of us…

The kids may not be too happy about the week ahead, but I bet the plants are,

This Week

We’ve been taking it easy this week, and staying away from the Summer heat.

Time for the weekend!

Monthly Crochet Review: May

The month of May was spent working on ongoing projects.

Right now I’m working on three Christmas blankets…

The Granny-burst blanket is coming along. I’m down to crocheting the last four rows.

The extra cozy grey blanket is coming along nicely.

I’m crocheting hexagon after hexagon for a bright and cheery blanket.

I tried my hand at making a Mandala.

I think I’m going to turn it into a cushion. Maybe I’ll make a few more.

I finally finished the African Flowers blanket.

The African Flowers blanket took me about six months to complete.

It was a fun project to work on.

I love the bright colors along the soft grey stitches.

So that makes two blankets complete, and ready to go for Christmas. Just six more to go, well, maybe a few more…
