On Wednesday and Saturday mornings the Farmer’s Market meets just a few blocks from our house. I thought it would be fun to take Dylan for a little walk while the weather was nice and cool.
We came home with so many tasty finds. I also learned a few great gardening tips from a few local Organic Farmers. I picked up purple Bell Peppers, Green Peppers, Zucchini, Butternut Squash, New Potatoes, Tiny Pumpkins, a jar of Raspberry Jam, and a jar of Plum Jelly.
I also picked up a surprise gift for my Mom…
I thought she would like this little Summery blue bracelet.
Our Farmer’s Market is open until the middle of October, so I hope to visit the market a few more times with the kiddos.

Hi Nicole,
I love the pic of you and your baby.
I’m sure your mom will like the bracelet, it’s gorgeous!
Will you please write an article about the gardening tips you’ve picked up?
Have a fun weekend!
Hugs,
Mimi
Purple bell peppers??? How did it taste? Anything like a green or red pepper? I’ve never heard of such a thing…although our famer’s market sometimes has purple potatoes. But I don’t find those all that appetizing.
Thanks Mimi! Dylan loves to walk (or ride) to the Farmers Market, and I love to go and look. Maybe next year I’ll get brave and set up a stand of baked goods 😉
I’ll be working on an Organic Tips article for you 🙂 The local Farmers are so nice, and really want to see our town heading in a Greener direction.
I hope that you are having a great weekend, and sending big hugs your way!
Thanks Susan! Purple Potatoes !?! Yeah, I have to agree with you on that one, I don’t know if I could eat a Purple Potato, maybe a Purple Potato Chip 😉
The Purple Peppers are supposed to taste like a Regular Bell Pepper, with just a little more heat. I sliced all of the Peppers up, and put them in the freezer for future fajitas.
