It is still raining, and a balmy 49 degrees 😉 so I decided Wal-Mart is just going to have to wait until tomorrow. I did make it by the Post Office, visited Hubby at work, and went to Walgreens. After the Walgreens trip I thought it was too cold to have Dylan out so we headed home.
I bought a few extra items at Walgreens to get me by until I can do a big Wal-Mart run. I grabbed a 1/2 gallon of milk, baby food ( 3 for $3.00), and rice cereal for Dylan. I was carrying Dylan in the Snugli, and at check-out Donna volunteered to help me with the groceries. She was such a sweetie, and so nice to go out in the pouring rain. I really appreciated all of the help.
When I got home I could see the giant puddle (lake) in our street, and I knew Thade would go right for it. I got him out of the car, and headed towards the house, I then went to the other side of the car to get Dylan. I opened the car door, placed my foot on the rest, my shoe slipped, and my foot landed right in the middle of that gigantic puddle. I had muddy water up to my shin, lovely, and a bit soggy. Thade thought it was pretty funny, I thought it was time to call it a day. Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow 😉
