I am still putting the house back together after the holidays, and the kiddos are out of School today. They are happy though, being noisy, and playing the Wii. I’m happy to have them home too. I’ve been catching up on the normal home-keeping duties: dishes, laundry, cleaning out the icky litter-box, but my mind is on paint.
Over the Christmas break we switched rooms with the boys. We gave them the largest bedroom, so they could have more room for their toys, and we took their smaller room. We really like the switch though, but we need to paint.
The boy’s have picked out a cool color gray for their room, and I’m looking at a pretty heather-gray for our room too. I just need a bit of time and cooperative kiddos, so I can get the painting projects done. I love the changes to our home that painting brings. I can’t wait to get started on some Winter projects.
We are almost finished re-doing and I will be so glad! 🙂
WE still lack the guest bedroom that last month was the playroom and this month is the junk room! LOL

Good luck with your projects! We have 2 grey colored rooms….dd’s bathroom with purple accessories/towels and our 4th bedroom which doubles as an extra tv room. I would have never thought grey could be such a great room color….can’t wait to see how it turns out 🙂

Thanks Ellie! That is cool that you have gray rooms too. I was really surprised when the kiddos picked out the color, but I think it is going to look great. Now I just need the time to paint.
