No Driving Days

This year I’m keeping track of my no driving days, and so far I’m off to a pretty good start. In January I had 5 no driving (or riding in a car) days. I’m looking forward to warmer weather, so we can get out and walk the errands, and maybe I’ll have a few extra no driving days to report.

  1. Way to go Nico! I agree about wanting the warm weather- today I had to bundle the boys and drive down the street to out Post Office. I was wishing for those warm days when we would have walked down in the stroller. Hang in there- January is over at least. smile..

  2. Thanks Marva! That is a great idea. Any steps that we can take to green our driving routine really helps 🙂

  3. Thanks Stacey! I like this green goal, and I try to make it at least 2 days a week without driving or riding in a car. I don’t always make it, but it is fun to try 🙂

  4. Thanks Heather! I miss the warmer weather too, the kiddos are going crazy in the house today, but it is just too cold to get out today. This weekend it is supposed to warm back up, so we will be out working in the yard 🙂 I’m ready to start gardening again!

  5. Thanks Nana! Great job in January! I hope to make it at least 2 days a week without driving, I know these greener steps will help. Keep up the great work 🙂

  6. That’s great Nicole! I do really well with no driving in the summer, but during the school year I have to drive the kids to school. There’s no bus and it’s too far to walk. Enjoy walking on errands with the kiddos!

  7. Thanks Mimi! I know next year will be different when Thade is in school on weekdays, but right now it is a fun challenge. I do miss the warm weather, and getting the kiddos out of the house 🙂
